Arriving at our accommodation
How to arrive ?
1. From the airport
A) By private transfer or taxi
Private transfer is the easiest way to arrive from the airport to Split City Heritage & SPA Palace. Split international airport Saint Jerome is located about 30 km out of the city of Split where the accommodation is located. The journey from/to the airport is about 35 minutes, but could be somewhat longer, depending on traffic conditions. We can arrange private transfer for 50 EUR in one direction; 100 EUR if the porter for luggage handling is required. In this case there will be a driver (and porter) to attend you at the airport and transfer you directly to the drop off location, closest possible to our rooms (140 meters far away, 2 minutes walking). If you choose the private transfer with luggage handling, the porter will carry your luggage up to your rooms (upper floor with no elevator). Please Note: If you choose to take a taxi upon arrival, the only recommended service is Uber. In any case, if considering taking another kind of taxi, be sure to ask for the price before getting it, so to avoid any possible misunderstandings!!

Split international airport "Saint Jerome" is located about 30 km from the city center where our rooms are located.
Split City Heritage & SPA Palace is located in UNESCO zone which is pedestrian area. There is no possibility to arrive by car directly to the address. The closest drop off / pick up point is indicated at the photo below.
The rooms are located at the 4th / 5th floor of the palace, and there is no elevator. Luggage storage is available at the entrance of the building, in the hall, at ground / street level.
When you book luggage handling transfer there will be a porter to carry your luggage from the airport up to your room(s), and from your room(s) to the airport, on departure.

B) By shuttle
From the airport you can take the Croatian airlines bus (Pleso prijevoz) to the main bus station in Split: Departures after each flight landing, approx. each 30 minutes. Journey is about 30/40 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Tickets can be purchased in the bus, at the airport terminal or online (recommended): https://plesoprijevoz.hr/en/split-croatia. Ticket cost is 10 EUR / person, in one direction. This is a direct line and the only stop is the main bus terminal which is located within the city port area. From there you can walk to the apartment in about 11/15 minutes, take the taxi (Uber taxi recommended), or, reserve one of our transfer offers (15 EUR one way transfer; 30 EUR if luggage handling is required). The car journey from the main bus terminal to the drop off location closest to our accommodation is about 12-17 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Average UBER cost is 7/12 EUR (depending on time of your arrival and/or weather conditions).
2. From the main bus terminal / train station or city port
A) By private transfer or taxi
We can arrange private transfer for 15 EUR in one direction; 30 EUR if the porter for luggage handling is required. In this case there will be a driver (and porter) to attend you at the airport and transfer you directly to the drop off location, closest possible to our rooms (140 meters far away, 2 minutes walking). If you choose the private transfer with luggage handling, the porter will carry your luggage up to your rooms (upper floor with no elevator).
Uber taxi is the only recommended taxi service. The car journey from the main bus terminal to the drop off location closest to our accommodation is about 12-17 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Average UBER cost is 7/12 EUR (depending on time of your arrival and/or weather conditions). In any case, if you are not using a kind of application for booking transfers, ask always for the price before taking any taxi service in Split, and in Croatia in general.
Bus/Train/Ferry

The main bus station, the train station and the city port are all located in the same area, at the eastern side of the harbour, about 15 minutes drive from the drop off point, closest possible to our accommodation.

B) Walking
From the main bus station / train station or city port (all located in the same area, at the eastern side of the harbour), you can walk to the Palace in about 11/20 minutes, depending which is your exact arrival location. 3. Arriving by car
If you are arriving by car, please note that we are located in the city center of Split and there are no parking places nearby where you can leave your car for longer than few hours (on payment). About 10 minutes walking from the accommodation, there are 2 large public parking lots (only per hour tickets available) and on street parking options (daily tickets available). Since the car is not required during your stay in Split, we highly recommend Acorus garage as the option for parking safe your car whilst enjoying your holiday in Split.
